I will be doing the same trip, except it is my own kid soon. Oddly enough that looks like Louisville Cardinal sticker in the window... am I right?

A guy I work with has a side business and he does screen printing and die cut vinyl stickers. He made these for me, they are made from a white reflective vinyl.

Test fitting the bike with swingout closed:

Still have some more work to do
    IMG_20200126_083925.jpg
Next step will be figuring out a bed extension. Plan is to make something that bolts under the rear two bed bolts to close to the gap between swingout and bed, then run it without the tailgate full time.

Hi Terry, we have several vendors here at TW that I'm sure can help you out.
@CBoy808 is who I go to when looking for vinyl. Here's an example of his flag vinyl.20190830_102849.jpg
He also has a thread here.

Give him a shout I'm sure he can take care of you.

You'll really hear the difference when you punch it hard. I don't do that often but sometimes will when the feeling strikes and I'm somewhere where that this doesn't cause flashing lights in my rear view mirror. Usually draws a head turn from those I pass, especially if they're in a convertible.

Added Icon RTX leaf springs in the option 1 configuration and Bilstein 6112's to the front (5th notch) & 5160's to the rear. Went up about 1.5" all the way around. Firm but not stiff; very comparable to stock ride quality.

Did my first oil change on a 3rd gen since I ran out of services because I drive so much. I appreciate how accessible everything was but the dealer cranked on the torque for the filter housing the last time it was in so when I diverted every cell in my body to arm strength, I got it loose and punched something hard in the process. Literal blood, sweat, and tears.

That is why I hate taking my truck in for service, something is always over torqued and getting leverage while laying underneath is such a pain in the ass.

The process was no problem laying underneath otherwise. I'm on the more slender side at least so I had no trouble. But yes, when there's just way too much torque, being under that small space provides no advantage.

Sounds like a knuckle buster for sure. I hope when it comes time for me to do mine I don't experience the same thing.
I will be sure to wear a pair of gloves and be conscious of where my hands are when the time comes. I think I'll use an extension long enough to clear any potential contact points just to be sure.
Would be nice if those doing oil changes were made to use a torque wrench when replacing the filter cover.
Then again I've seen some use a torque wrench like it was a breaker bar so.......

I was wearing Mechanix Wear gloves with padded fingers and knuckles. Unfortunately the padding only reached the front of the knuckles and stopped before the top. The top of my knuckle is completed exposed and was a perfect bullseye for something with great density.
