Those big metal slides were still around when I was a kid thatd burn your arse. We used to acquire someone’s moms cooking oil and a candle w/plastic sled. Poured oil on slide and waxed bottom of sled talk about a wild ride.

 

Ah yes the ole 3rd degree burn slides.

I remember those oh so not fondly.

 

I wore my polyester little league pants as not to get those burns.

 

We used to use rugs and towels

 

You clean the truck yet? I unloaded everything but warshin it after work.

 

Concrete Irrigation Aquaduct, Hockey pants & that nice skim of Summer algae. They could hear us screaming’ all the way ‘til it dumped us in the River. Good times.

 

Just got back from cleaning it and doing my initial post-wheeling inspection.

Same here. Only a little bit of play in my inner the rod, so it can wait a little bit. The dealer here in town wants $248 for it. Even the parts guy was like,"holy crap, that's expensive."

 

You can get a new rack for like 60 more aftermarket

 

I know lol. My inner tie rod had lasted this long, though. I might get the factory one instead of aftermarket for the beating I gave the stock one.

Had A Zip line in our yard in Florida about 150 ft with a Drop down T bar to hold onto.Like 7yrs old then standing on a 10 foot ladder ,Big Sis threw it up to me busted my forehead open &Knocked my ass off the ladder.Wish I had a helment back then .Hated Er Visits.

 

Only wore a helmet when I started riding dirtbikes and football.
