Good to know. I have four .22lr pistols and three rifles. Amazing light duty guns.

I pick up my G44 today at my FFL. Once I get it cleaned, lubed and shot I’ll post a report. Noted YouTube rim fire guru .22 Plinkster had trouble with his feeding bulk 36 grain ammo but no issues with 40 grain better quality rounds. I’ll try both and report. I have a 2nd gen Tacoma and three gen 5 Glocks FWIW.

i'm picking mine up today... i too plan on giving it my own cleaning prior to hitting the range for my own first impressions. i've seen videos of winchester bulk not shooting very well, but have plenty of other bulk to try.

and yeah, not sure what dudes comment was above for knowing what gen trucks with have vs what glocks we one. FWIW all my other glocks are G3.... if G44's had a generation to choose i'd have picked a G3 in that too!

    I drive a Gen 1 truck that's reasonably built

I own Glocks of every generation and shoot all of them...Gen 2 and 3 are my least favorite...Gen 1 and 5 are tops for different reasons with 4 not far behind...a couple with upgraded parts and red dots and more than a few stock pistols

    Sooo :notsure:

Be cautious of the G44, Tim (MAC) postes today about what appears to be an out of battery detonation (video) and was telling of a friend of his that had something similar but not as serious.

Theres been a handful of posts about this all of a sudden today

Mrgunsngear had one too I think on his Facebook

Def following because Glock has said several times how much testing they did before release because of the reputation of 22 semi auto pistols and they wanted to make sure this lived up to their standard

So you are telling me to wait a little while before I get one. Maybe let others figure out the good, the bad and the ugly. I really don’t want to go crazy modding this gun.

I on the other hand have no self restraint or impulse control and buy everything as soon as it appears.

I’m not sure how to link from IG so here’s a screenshot.

And a Facebook link that may or may not work since it’s via the app.

I think the big draw is getting a carbine that uses the same caliber and mags as their handgun.

Other than that there's nothing that stands out as to a solid reason to get one.
