That was my guess. Busy weekend so a little slow today.
Wife and I went out to see two shows Saturday. Friend of ours band was playing at a wine bar we wanted to try and then another friend (our beer guy) plays in a punk band in they played later in the evening so we went to both. Hysterical to be in two entirely different crowds in one night. Early show was chill with a somewhat sedate crowd while the punk show was well..... a punk show. Both were a lot of fun and we had a great time.
Yesterday we hiked 5.5 mi, went and had a burger and some beer at our favorite place and then took the kayaks out for a couple hours.
Walked into a relatively nice surgery schedule and cruising through the day.
Hope everyone is having as good a Monday as possible.

Minus the snow this time of year, you could do that by us. Just look up ultra marathon routes. We have the Western States in town and there's also the Tahoe Rim Trail which I believe is just over 50 miles one pass, but I could ask my dad if you're looking for something long. He's one of those crazies that do that stuff.

Forgot all about the Az Trail. Doesn't run through my area but covers the entire state.

Sorry I guess I forget there's a difference between the full trail and the run which has 50 and 100 variations I believe. My dad doesn't go beyond the 100 range thankfully and now that he's older I think he's scaled back to 50s.

And yes, we're actually in the northern "NorCal" near Auburn which is where the Western States is held each year.

I'm gonna celebrate early. Two tall cans of cheap ass beer, smoke a bowl, and hit the strip club all during my lunch break today. Just in the name of @stun gun

    Sorry to hear man! :(:(:(

Getting old is a real bitch! I've gotten to a point where I know I'm gonna hurt everyday to a certain extent. I judge bad days by those where my pain stops me from doing the things I love.

    https://aztrail.org/

This should a complete guide. There's a guy who hung out in the AZ BS thread @OnePuttBlunder who hikes it segments at a time and is a trail steward I believe. He'd be a great resource!

Yeah, but 2 self inflicted injuries has sped up the process for me. Forget doing anything, I can barely do the minimal requirements for my job. :(

That's the main reason I went into mgmt. Moving patients and standing at a sterile field all day are not something I could manage any longer.
