SOLD Cash only, no checks, drafts, electronic. I want to sell locally, but will entertain out of region buyers. I would not (and have not) hesitated to drive this truck anywhere. It was my daily for 3 years and has been rock solid during that time.

Hate to sell, but time to move on. Let me know if you have any other questions. More pics available upon request (specify what you want to see).

    · 2001 Tacoma TRD Off Road, 175k miles. Truck was purchased near Alpine, TX (high desert) and has been in TX all its life. Frame is solid. I am the 3rd owner (2nd owner was related to the original owner). Everything works as it should including 4WD and the rear locker.

    · A/C and heat work perfectly. No problems with the controls or air handler.

    · Paint is chipped, scratched and there are small dents all over, but there is no fading or peeling of the clear on the truck or topper.

    · Interior is 9 out of 10. Replaced HVAC knobs with Yaris knobs and tinted the lights to match the rest of the dash. OEM knobs come with. Very nice condition OEM carpeted mats and used but good condition Husky all weather fitted mats.

    · Leer topper with Yakima artificial rain gutter mounts. Yakima rain gutter towers with 48” or 58” round load bars and bike trays are available at a small extra cost.

    · Bilstein 5100 all around with AAL. 1.5 FF and 2” RR lift.

    · T4R Trail wheels with NEW Nitto TG G2 in 265/70/17 (31”) no rubs.

    · Magnaflow cat back, not too loud or droning, but you know it’s there.

    · Deck plate mod to the air box. Sealed with black RTV.

    · Parrot Asteroid headset with BT, GPS, Apps (runs android 5), and back-up camera capable. Camera is installed in tailgate handle, but not wired to the head unit (will come with all cables to do so). This unit has great phone connectivity and sound. I believe it uses the built in DPS for phone AND audio. With stock speakers, this sounds miles better than my 2020. Comes with OEM head unit.

    · Brake controller is installed, but the 7 pin connector got destroyed when someone ran into the back of the truck. Wires for the connector are taped up and in a plastic bag under the bed because it was blowing the dash fuse.

    · Rear bumper replaced and painted with black bed liner

    · Front bumper replaced and painted with black bed liner to match the rear. Replaced grill, lower valence and headlights/signals with new.

    · Front brakes rotors replaced with Power Stop drilled and slotted rotors with ceramic pads.

    · Passenger side CV replaced with aftermarket. Stock OEM comes with if you want to rebuild it.

    · Recently replaced O2 sensors, catalytic converter, MAF sensor, throttle position sensor and carbon filter valve.

    · Underside and under hood of the truck are dirty. I never clean these. Dirty buildup on the lower parts of several places are from oil leaking from the drain plug when the “mechanic” didn’t replace the drain plug washer. Pics of my driveway show no leak spots except where the oil has collected and leaked around the skid plate. Sorry about the crappy pic, sun was not cooperating. More pics available upon request.

    · Valve cover gaskets may need to be replaced soon. Oil level doesn’t change between changes, so I never bothered. Rear axle seal/seals need to be replaced. LBJ and steering rack have not been serviced by me, so not sure of the need. Timing belt will be due in a few thousand miles.

    · Folder full of service receipts and original Moroney sticker come with it.

I have seen this truck in person at my local bike trails. VERY nice truck the pics speak for themselves but I can vouch for it having seen it myself. Priced well also. GLWS.

That would be a cool roadtrip twofer. Haven't seen Mike in a couple years. Not sure if you're into Hot Rods, but he owns and drives the "Yella Turd"

Yeah, hard to miss that thing, lol. He also has that red VW Beetle that was in a fire.

I'll let you know what happens with the local buyer. If you're serious, I'm serious.

Forgot to add on the original post that truck will come with a 5th T4R wheel. I bought a set of 5 and never installed the 5th one as a spare.
