I’ll keep my 19 until it falls apart one day. With that said , if I truly wanted a good deal on a 2020 I’d just wait out the “NEW” prices. Before the year is over you guys will start finding the same great deals as were found on the 2019 Pro last year. Patience can save lots of money on buying vehicles at the right time. If a few grand or so isn’t a big deal ........... Go ahead , make the purchase and be happy. Lol

I think many Tacoma buyers were waiting for the updated 2020 Tacoma to debut and held off on purchasing a 2019 model. The 2021 Tacoma’s will be hitting dealerships in only 9 months. The end of the year would be a great time to purchase a 2020 model. Are you patient enough to wait?

Late last year the 2019s had a $1,500 rebate while the 2020s had a $1,000 rebate. Beyond that it depended on your negotiating skills.
I was able to negotiate an 11.5% discount (including the rebate) on a 2020, I'm not sure I could have done much better on a 2019.
For me it just made sense to get a 2020, even if I could have saved a little on a 2019. I wanted the 2020 upgrades.
I think the differences between the 2020 and a 2021 will probably be less than the 2020 refresh. If you wait until the 2021 model year is out a 2020 may make sense even if it only saves a few hundred.
    Just my opinion.

    A few.
I would be surprised to see any changes at all on the 2021's other than color changes.

I predict LED tail lights on the upper trim models and of course a new Pro color for 2021.

Seems a good deal is 11-13% off MSRP, at least on TRD-OR models. SR5 may have lower margins, but I'd shoot for 12% MSRP and see what they counter with. In the past I've had good luck getting some accessories thrown in as well to sweeten the deal.

Think that’s a good deal if that’s exactly the option schedule you want. You’re getting 10% off MSRP which appears to be right in the pocket from whats reported here. 12% is the best I’ve seen, which is another $800 off. Is that $800 worth waiting until fall?

The only thing I dont want that is included are the bed lights, but I can't find another configuration anywhere and this is the best I've been able to do.

As far as the fall, there is very little chance I make it that long now that I'm looking haha

Thanks for the input. I'm in the northeast (Albany, NY area). I've reached out to about 30 dealers within 150 miles or so

First question I would ask is do they have the truck or how do they plan on getting what you want. I put money down on my build on 12/14 and to the best of my knowledge my order still has not been accepted by Toyota. This is my 10th new Tacoma since 1999 and I've never had this much of a problem getting what I want. As far as price goes, My MSRP was $44,578. I settled for $39,987. I got $29,500 for my 2016 TRD Sport 4X4. Total Price of $11,412.19 plus my truck. This price does NOT include any rebates that may be in effect when the truck is delivered, if I ever see it.

Wow thats a great price on your trade. How low are your miles if you don't mind me asking?

They do have the truck in stock, which is why im kind of stuck with the bed light which I really didnt plan on purchasing, but if that saves me waiting a couple of months ill pay the 149.
