    Hey guys,

My brother recently purchased a Honda CR-Z (black, with the CVT transmission, navi, all the goodies) and has a birthday coming up on the 12th. I was wondering if you guys had any ideas on what to get him for his CR-Z in the $50 or under price range.

Note: He has the cargo tray, door guards, mud guards, etc.

    Thanks in advance!

Tints are a good gift, a little more than $50 though.

This. I used to love Honda, but it seems like every new release from them is a bad decision. First the Crosstour, now this. The only thing that springs to mind as a recent win is the Fit...if you're in the market for a subcompact. Most people aren't.

I for one, at this point, do not dislike the CRZ. It does have a huge ass.

I gotta disagree, respectfully. The CR-X was a big hit in the 80's, and I think this could be the new generation of that car. Honda is advertising it as a "performance Hybird"....welll....Im hearing alot of good things about it, and seems many folks I know are diggin it.

    THAT is a GREAT idea!

Yes it was. And if this car was anything like the CRX, I would like it.

    But it isn't:

    http://www.thetruthaboutcars.com/honda-knows-the-cr-zs-not-very-sporty/

It seems like an adequate little vehicle, but given that it doesn't have the sportiness of the original CRX nor the mileage of a hybrid, I'm trying to figure out exactly what Honda has accomplished with this car. Answer: Nothing meaningful. It's an also-ran compact.

I dunno, maybe they'll cash in on the Hybrid fad, and that's the idea.

How about the largest, most retarded looking spoiler that you can find. Or you could go with the ever popular chrome fart can muffler - a good rule of thumb with these is to be sure that it is at least half the size of the wheels on the car!

Well.....journalists didnt like the CRX when it first came out, and as I mentioned, Im finding more people that like it than dont. If people are buying the Nissan Cube (I personally feel is the MOST Butt ugly thing on the road), I dont have any doubts this will sell well. Is it for me? No. BUT, I can see the niche it may fit.

+1, the only thing similar about the crz and the crx, is the size, and .... well that's it.

and i completely agree, the only good new car i've seen from honda as of late is the fit. if they actually did a true remade the crx, that would be a pretty cool car too.
