Gents,

I may have committed the cardinal sin this weekend.

Paperwork is processing for the sale of my taco. I passed polygraph on Friday which puts me at about a 90% guarantee of hire with NBPD. This means a paycut for the short term and getting a new mortage in about 18 months when we move there. On top of that, the wife has just entered 2nd trimester with our 2nd daughter on the way, so lord knows thats gonna be expensive once she's here.

All that being said, I had to make financial choices which included the sale of the taco.

The replacement was test drove yesterday and its an 06 GX 470 with 102k miles on it. Making this move drops my debt by almost 10 grand and cuts my monthly payments in half.

May the powers that be have mercy on my soul.

I am trying to stay on the positive side and knowing that there is alot of potential in the build, but unfortunately, i's going to have to sit stock until the baby is out and the new house is moved into. I'm going to have to own that mid 2000's luxury soccer mom wagon while I stock up on all the build components.

 

A GX-470 is simply a Toyota with daddy issues. You're good.

Just stopped by to say hello. And was wondering if y'all know any details about the closing of CenterPoint Station @ San Marcos? Wife and I stopped there twice last trip down. The food was pretty good. The ambiance was kinda neat. And the place was packed when we were there. Just can't imagine why they would close down?

I was wondering if the owner had passed? Looked to me like the place was a Gold Mine.

 

A lot of us have been there brother, have to make sacrifices sometimes, but sounds tough got everything under control . Congratulations on everything, especially the upcoming new born. Family first brother.
