I fairly certain I've got the basic system that comes with the TRD Off-road package if that makes any sense...don't think it's JBL

Hmmm...are the JBLs "standard" in the TRD packages? I haven't seen anything branded JBL but maybe that doesn't mean anything... Guess I better check into it

Welcome to table talk, where we talk about spices from all over the globe. I’m your host Linda Freefeather, and with us today is Nancy Campbell, hello Nancy

    hello Linda

and what have you brought for us today? I see a fun and exiting potpourri of spices before me

I brought a basket of rosemary sourced from the chaparral surrounding Steve Jobs estate drainage ditch. It has a distinct bouquet, hints of pacifism yet a slight overtone of inert passive aggression.

Ooh it does have an amazing nose feel!

The JBL is clearly identified with logos on the HU and speakers.

Non JBL 45 max. Added an 8" subwoofer. That thing slaps harder than a Cincinnati Pimp who was shorted $4.

Depends on the input. Bluetooth Spotify is usually around 50 with volume on phone all the way up. YouTube is high 30’s to low 40’s. Radio is between 20-40. I don’t use Cd’s.

Does the unit have a sub out or did you have to use a speaker level amp

I'm hard of hearing as it is, usually 30-50 depending on mood and song. Metal is automatically getting bumped up to 50+/max.

Wife in the truck, below 20.

Bought a line out adapter. The sub is all in one with amp. Fits perfect behind either side cubby.

JBL at 30 sounds good and the cabin is filled with sound. To really pound, 40ish. I have gone to 50 but after a few minutes you feel the affect on your ears and that tells me that there is distortion involved, not good for the ears.

You have the one people refer to as 'non-JBL' or 'non-JBL with Entune'

I don't pay attention to the "level" If a great song comes on I crank it till I can sing along without hearing myself...……….LOL

I don’t think I’ve ever gone above 25 with my JBL. I feel like my truck would rattle apart if I went to 30.

Dang. Some of y'all are blastin...I'm between 10-20 usually. Low 30s is highest I've ever pushed it. I'm on the O+ dual sub system these days but iirc the loudness to set volume number didn't change much from stock.
