That's weird. Mine's a 2016 model like OP too, and I don't have that box there .
I have TPMS sensors on my wheels. I even opened the roof liner like he did to put my Meso 3rd brake lamp. F'ing toyota. No two trucks they build the same.

Found out what that is! It’s a tire pressure monitor module!

You should have no problem selling the OEM wheels. I posted mine on Facebook Market and sold them in one day. I honestly can't remember the exact price but it was more than I thought I'd get. Around $650 for the set I think. Was a nice offset to the Method wheels I put on for $700.

You need to find someone with a really short wife that drives the truck occasionally. Seeing over the bump is a problem for those vertically challenged.

Stock suspension or lifted? If the latter I'd be curious to know the details

Not as bad as one would think. I paid$75.00 canadian with %15 tax. I could only go by the ones on EBAY for price, Beside that fact that i'm in Canada

Wish they fit the 2019's. $76.00 is kind of a no brainer (relatively).

I bought the "anytime backup camera" and it was an option. One small issue IMO is that it is only lit when it's on...so reaching for it in the dark can be a bit of a PITA at first.

Understood. Just need to drill out an 1 ⅛" hole and a couple smaller ones and then hard wire. Plug and play like the 2020's is the ticket.
I did get some battery LED's strips that are fine for occasional use (camping, fishing, crashing).

nice bike! I found when loading bikes like that, it helped to put the front wheel in the driver's side. That made it easier to check the lane to the right when changing lanes. Just FYI

It bracket sticks out further than the cover allows the cross bars to be put on. You can’t ope the the cover unless the bars are off though. I’m ok with that

Thanks for the tip! I'll have to give that a try. I haven't actually driven with it at all yet. I just wanted to make sure I could actually close the swingout before I finished welding on the expanded metal. Waiting for paint to dry on the swingout now.

Made shovel/axe mounts from 1/8” flat steel and quick fist. All together cost 35$. Topper setup if finally how I want it. Toolbox on one side, mounts for shovel/axe on other. In the black bag is my snow chains. And under toolbox is 3 gal of pressurized water. ACB684C1-20FF-4327-8D0F-FD742BA51124.jpg655E4726-5F20-4ED2-B803-B00C03101ABC.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg

    Added dual wireless air.

I hope I don't regret going wireless. It passed the first test with flying colors. Using the controller I went up and down many many times, with different psi on left vs right. Worked flawlessly. The app on the phone worked as well. On my f550 I put firestone airbags on with an airlift air tank system 3 years ago. Never a glitch. So this wireless kit got some good reviews and 60 days return policy. So if it sputters at all I'll take it out and give ARB a shot.
