I reset them every time. There’s no reason to “wait” for your truck to figure out the new parameters. With that being said other don’t. I see no reason not to though

the first time I ever flashed to 1.05, I could barely drive my truck. I reset them and it corrected everything.

I agree with this and also had issues from my first flash of 1.05. I reflashed the same file and hit the Resets, it was a completely different tune along with a couple other unrelated positive things. Zero negatives seen in the last 10,000mi.

Since, while I still do the Resets, I have not see any dramatic changes after the first time.

Flash 2.0 on my 2019 at last week and was only able to do some local driving of the 10 miles or less. Took a 100 mile trip today to San Diego where there is a big mountain pass.

normally there are some spots where it downshifts to 3rd and others where it does the 6-5-4 dance. Now the lowest gear it went to was 4th and held it good. Other areas where it held 5th too and kept up in 6th.

so far really liking the “new” truck.

also averaged about 1.5 mpg better on display. 17 va 15.5

Yes, for non-dongle folks. Even though I had TS, I only tried the Resets after @OVTune added them to FM.

With the final 2.0 release coming close are there any new developments on 2018 handhelds? Been patiently holding out until 2.0 release with the OFT handheld on my desk the last few months.

Looking to purchase after waiting for years to take the jump. Hopefully the twin turbos will be next.

The OFT appears to be simplest option for some that wants plug and play?

The normal flash kit is same price but offers wider range of being able to have unlimited amount on tunes loaded onto the lap top while the OFT can only hold one tune at a time?

I would like to hold a 91 tune and 87 tune on hand held in case I can’t get 91 for some reason.

They are the same price so just want to make sure I’m not missing something before I order with 15% off discount code.

I think you can hold as many as 5 tunes on the handheld.

But with the OTF, you don’t Get every update correct? Once the 2.0 drops you don’t get this file right?

should you not be able to upload any new tune to OTF once it’s officially released? My plan was to buy now and wait for 2.0 to be released. Load the 2.0 91 octane performance tune and a 87 tune.

assuming my S&B intake will have no issues with this tune and Borla exhaust.

from what I was reading to me it sounded like the OTF, was for tinkering with the tune on your own. It doesn’t word that you will receive all new tunes as the non OTF does. Seems almost like you have to purchase them. I could be wrong, and I hope I am.

Yep. Just finished the 10min idle. Now the clock just needs to hit 5pm so I can see what its like compared to my favorite 1.05.1 91 base. Won't be able to put many miles on this week except for short work commutes but it should atleast act differently. We'll see. I was glad to hear someone commented on too much tip in. I prefer that.

Ill share my thoughts briefly as I have sent them to Mat as well. This 5.29 tune is as close to perfect as I think we are going to get. I would be a needy dick to suggest any changes. I have verified that this 5.29 tune does not have GL but with the addition of that and likely a couple other features that will be unlocked in the final, yall are going to be happy.

Most of you anyway, some of you will never be happy. :luvya:

Are there any 04B04+2.0+Build+25600 dongle files floating around? Stock gear ratio.

Sent a message to the Zendesk as he requested to someone else earlier, but I figured Mat is probably swamped as it is.
