Thanks, it goes so well and looks so classic. We like it too but I think black will be better.

Well, the good thing is, I like it too and the wife is happy, so that means we can wait until the weather gets a little warmer more regularly before you paint it for me. :D

The bad news is we can wait until the weather gets a little warmer. :bananadead:

I'll leave all that up to you. I still say your sliders look fantastic and that's what I'd like to achieve on the cap. I kinda remember you saying you did them when it was a bit colder than you'd have liked it to be. I'm ok with that. I will have it prepped and ready to go when you get there. Just bring your gun, and I will supply the rest including all clean up materials. Of course steaks and crab cakes and something very cold to drink.

As we get closer I will talk to you about it. I plan on buying the paint the next chance I get when I get a 20% or 25% off coupon.

Yea, a big old 351c.i. v8, lots of clearance, and no carpeting in mine. I would take the top off all the time.

I say you should just send it. Life is too short for a stock truck. If not now when? Do what feels good, you deserve it.

I live vicariously off the builds of strangers. :anonymous:

Well, in that case. Depends on your lifestyle. If you are so into that you are on the trails every weekend build your truck for that use. If you don't like the fact that you have to put your cell phone in a cup holder because you didn't get the fancy holder that has a Ram Ball mount then don't do that. I guess what you really need to decide is, will your truck be able to handle 15 years of long travel sending it? At some point all that abuse is going to take a toll. Look at those guys with those professional rigs. Those are built for that shit. They still come away sometimes damaged. Can you make a midsized pickup bullet proof? I am absolutely sure you can. If that's your passion, then do it. You could be the next Grave Digger or Snakebite.

I've spent so much money in the past on dumb shit you don't have enough time to hear it all. Now, I am happy to have what I do. Is it gonna rock crawl with the big dawgs? Nope. Is it gonna jump rivers? Nope. Will it provide years of entertainment and fun with my Tacomaworld family? I pray every day that it does. Will I be happy to see it evolve slowly into my dream truck spending as little as possible. Absolutely.

I like that a lot too. And you're right its not like I sit here every weekend and fling my truck through the trails (even though I'd like to but the truck is making some noises that sketch me out...) but there are some many things that I want NOT NEED... but want so it for sure makes it difficult to decide what really suits the current lifestyle. Logically midtravel and stuff makes the most sense but then my devil ego pops up and says YO LONGTRAVEL IT BROOOOO. Decisions decisions

I drove 9 hours to deliver a bumper. If you have never been, then why not go now?
