luckily groundhog day is this coming weekend

we have been having a pretty mild winter (at least in VA). Its been 50s and no snow

 

I'm in love with the streetfighter ever since it came out. Always said one of these years I'll pick one up.

 

Ill snap a pic tonight when I get home. My bike looks like yours, but I wasnt fancy in putting towels and sheets on it. I put 1 small micro fiber on it

 

Mine still gets ridden on the weekends when I can ride midday when the temps aren’t bad. The last month or so has been too cold for going to work, riding there and back in 30°ish and the dark isn’t much fun.

 

i cant ride under 60 but I can turn it on on Sat morning to let my neighbors know that motorcycle season is coming up

 

This weekend was 45° warming up to 55° by the time I got home. I had to stop and take off the insulated liner in my jacket when I was working on slow u-turns and figure 8s in a parking lot.

 

Gah! Is it spring yet?

For the record; it's the salt that's keeping her caged, not the cold.

I just saw CBR, so I knew it was a Honda. I havent heard the name Blackbird in a long time.

My neighbor has a ZRX1100. I think from the same era?

 

We don’t salt around here, we use some beet juice instead haha. As long as there isn’t snow on the road I’m riding into work. Brr.

It was in the low 40s the other day when I rolled 40,000 miles and stopped for some pictures.

Nice! My first liter bike. Coming off 2 07/08 CBR600RR. Went down a year ago and stayed off the bike for a bit until my boss picked up a 2016 GS1200 that we both ride. Time for my own ride again

 

Yea my first bike was a 03 cbr600rr. Funny thing is I totalled that the first year I had it young and dumb at that time. A week after I found out that the insurance company total it I bought the 04 cbr1000rr. Havent looked back. I also picked up 2019 Yamaha wr450f back in September.
