I called in one morning and told my boss I was going to be late coming in. He said “I might as well give your repair work for today to another Mechanic” I said cool I will see you tomorrow and I hung up the phone.

My Second Mechanic job when I moved to Atlanta, I had two Supervisors one was kinda a scardy cat and stayed in the office. The other one was out on leave pending an investigation for stabbing another Supervisor. He died several years later from a heart attack. I still talk to the other one. I retired from there after 27 years with a 30 year pension.

 

Hmmm...that's one way to resolve things.
EDIT: Might regret in the long run.
