Didn't catch that this was either a Sport or had matched flares. I keep going back and forth if I want to dip mine.

Not really looking, but what are you selling exactly? Might get some more interest if you post pics.

Lesson learned about cheap Chinese electronics combined with getting stuck alone without cell service.

Scenic route to home Depot turned into stuck above treeline. Didn't seem too difficult or that big of an issue at the time other than the cold wind. Truck left running to keep warm between digging... Chinese seat heater was also left on for ~3 hours unintentionally... You don't really notice it nor think you should when it's cold enough to freeze a Carhartt jacket. It was fused properly and behind a breaker but either internally electronically or physically got too hot.

Storm came in and it wasn't easy but we were able to get it the next weekend before it was stuck up there over winter.

    Yikes!

So you knew the story on it before going for the recovery. I figured it was something that you, or someone you know, found.

    That one was mine... :(

Only good news was of all the sketchy spots I put myself in over the years, the simplest one was what did me in... Complacency plus shit going bad at the wrong time.

But I figured I wasn't in too bad of a situation or too far from home and took my time and boom. Should've just hiked back instead of trying to get it out myself, but Monday morning quarter backing always has the right answers. :notsure:

So I’m torn between a set of Diode Dynamics SL1 bulbs or the Morimoto 2Stroke 2.0 bulbs for my F150 low beams. I feel reasonably confident these are the only two bulbs that won’t have a ton of glare. I have the morimotos in the Taco, but not 100% sure how they’ll act in the Ford’s lights. The Diode Dynamic ones claim to have been made using the F150 as the design benchmark though.

Morimotos in my Tacoma, does this cutoff look like shit or does it look passable?

If the two choices are either looking like shit or ok, I'd go with looks like shit for something that likely was not cheap. And I base that on the fact that just a little bit of a grey area means driving around with headlights that blind other drivers more than they should.

If the pic was lights that were for off-road use only and eBay price vs rigid prices, they'd be fine as far as cutoff.

Looks solid to me. I have this one https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005ASY23I/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and it is a damn champ. I've used it countless numbers of times with 0 issues. The one you linked would only be better.

No first-hand experience, but I’ve done a LOT of TW reading on these and other comparable compressors and this appears to be THE favorite when balancing functionality, reliability, and affordability. I am likely going with this one too, or my cheap ass will settle on the 88P for $66 and the couple extra minutes it’ll take to inflate all 4 tires. My 2¢

I haven't owned one personally but have seen them used plenty. Biggest thing you're paying for with ARB is the speed that you'll be able to inflate your tires. If you want to mount that one, you could always install a tank under the truck which will help with capacity.

I mounted a tank behind the drivers side storage box door in the bed, was able to pump up tires in no time with the puma. Usually pumped up mine and continued helping others.

@Built2Ride do you have any Baja Designs rock lights laying around youre looking to get rid of? Planning on designing and 3D printing a mount to install them on my OEM roof rack as scene lights and need to get my hands on some. I know you have BD products for days

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
I own the constant duty Viar with tank on the Tundra. Search my post for “Tundra Tank”. Was a pretty truck mod if I do say so myself. Used the spare tire rim to mount the Compressor and Tank to it.
Then I can just drop the whole thing if needed.
