Just put down a deposit today on a 20 Pro 6MT army green Taco. I added a comment to the following thread if you want to know the all the gory details:
What are you paying for 2020 Tacomas?

This is my first new automobile (can't say it's my first new vehicle since I bought my 2013 Harley Wide Glide new, but I digress). I'm pretty stoked! Just waiting now for the stork to deliver the goods. I owned an 87 and 93 Toyota pickup that I drove in the 90's thru 2007 (both were manual), and have driven an 06 Honda Ridgeline up until now, which was great for raising a family and long road trips (which we did a lot of). Both kids are in college now so I decided it's time to get a real 4 wheeler that won't (cover your ears Ridgeline) shit itself and drop suspension parts on the ground the moment it first encounters a small rock. Plus I really miss driving a stick.

Thanks to all that have posted on this forum, I learned a lot and felt like I was pretty informed when I went in there today. I did quite a bit of research over the last couple months before deciding today was the day. Why today? Because the last 2 nights I only slept 3 hours each night, and this morning I realized I'm not sleeping because I'm consumed with this damn truck. So I decided to buy it so I could get some sleep! Sound reasoning, I know...

Looks like the stork is taking the long way to get here. Found out yesterday my order for the AG Pro MT won't be entered into the system until next week, which means I won't make the end of January 3-pedal production run. They also said it will be at least 90 days for it to arrive. Anyone know when the next 3-pedal production run is? My guess is end of March which would coincide with a mid to late April delivery. Apparently each dealership gets an allocation of one Pro per production run, and their allocation for the January production run didn't match up with my order, so I essentially get their next allocation.

So, it's been an interesting past few weeks since my last post. Long story short, the dealer was not able to get their next Pro allocation in Army Green. Today they tried (and failed) to do a dealer exchange. There are only 2 AG MT Pros in this region coming in this month, but fortunately I happened to also be talking with the dealer that is getting them. After getting my deposit refunded I drove to the other dealer and put down a deposit on one of them. Actually signed the paperwork this time so it's official now. They said it will arrive between Feb 21 and 26. Woo hoo!

BTW, it unfortunately comes with the Predator tube steps so I'll be taking them off as soon as I get it home and posting them for sale (Northern VA)
