One thing I don't see a lot of people mention is that due to the folding style of the Sub2K, you can't use any (top mounted) optics on it and retain it's ability to fold. You'd be stuck with the iron sights, but I don't know a lot of people that care to shoot 9mm over 100 yards so... Just thought I'd mention. You can probably use an offset mount for a red dot/magnifier and shoot with a tacticool cant, but that would make the footprint larger when folding/storing. Otherwise its a fun little pew.

My Sub2k is real good out to 100 yards with my Primary Arms red dot and that’s all I want it to do

I'm a big fan of AR9's, especially good ones with full feature sets, because of their use in training rifle handling skills in formats you otherwise could not. For instance, running one in IDPA/USPSA PCC competition allows you to compete and build manipulation/target identification skills and recoil control skills with movement and dynamic presentations that 2 gun or 3 gun might not address. They're also cheap to run and often quieter than traditional rifles, especially when suppressed, which makes such training more tolerable over the course of a day. Ultimately, I'd buy a 9mm PCC as a training aid for CQC work and competition use, and no more.

I'm not fond of an AR9 as a pack rifle, as they don't offer much utility not offered by other rifles outside of potential mag/ammo compatibility with a pack handgun, where 9mm can fall short in terminal ballistics in hunting and defensive contexts. I've pondered putting together a 10mm PCC and Handgun combo of a suppressed ARBestMilimeter and Glock 40, for the novelty and relative power they offer on animals like hogs, deer, and defensively against bears where the mass and power of the cartridge go a long way in penetrating hides with minimal recoil and weight and bring sufficient power to bear against a potentially dangerous invasive. In this context such a combo is the new-school way of carrying a PCC and handgun in common cartridges, the old-school way being a lever-action rifle and revolver in common calibers like .44-40, and .45 Colt, or the more modern and powerful .357 magnum, .44 magnum, .454 Casull, and others.

Took the new Glock 44 in .22lr to the indoor range today. It fired a couple hundred rounds of cheap bulk ammo of different brands and bullet weights with no malfunctions. I forgot to bring the little screwdriver for the adjustable sight. It does shoot above point of aim.

Ruger PC9 accepts both Glock and Ruger pistol magazines. Bud’s Gunshop has them for $439.

there are slap to side mounts available for the sub2000 that allow for top mount optics and it still to fold. also, while i love the regular rifle version, Keltech demoed and integrally suppressed sub2000 that has a forend that allows it to fold with the forend/optic out of the way, they stated that they are looking to release the forend as an accessory, as well as the full suppressor package as a retrofit kit. might be worth saving your pennies for a bit , IIRC the MSRP on the supressed version was about 1000-1100 or so, so probably see it on the streets for around 800-900 after the initial surge. and IMO the supressed version brings a lot more to the table than the current version.

When I spoke to the Keltec rep at SHOT, he said they're wanting to be sub 1000 for the suppressed version and they likely wouldn't release the forend parts as a retrofit because it would be cost prohibitive

    fantastic

Ah. I hadn't actually spoken to kel tech. I was going off of the press coverage. But sub 1000 for the suppressed version would be fantastic

Going for a 10mm glock. What do you think full size or compact? Haven’t got to hold either of the 10’s yet. But

That’s going to depend entirely on your purpose for the pistol

Are you gonna try and conceal it or hunt with it or leave it on the nightstand

I was gonna hold off, but 3 or 4 of my buddies cleaned me out of my first order and when the second shipment came in my girlfriend demanded one of them...sooo yeahhh

I'm not worried about it whatsoever...Glock has a good warranty if there's any issues but I don't think there will be unless they're ammo related
