That will likely be our youngest! She has claimed from early on that she wants no kids. She wants to be the cool aunt who comes and goes with the breeze. Our oldest already has one (14mos) and will likely have one more. As for the other kids; son has lived with the same girl for three years but is finishing school and is focused on getting his RN before anything else. Middle daughter would be an incredible mother but is really enjoying exploring life on her own right now.
I've never been one to encourage anyone to have kids. They're a shit ton of work and can be arseholes much of the time. Wouldn't trade ours for anything though!

Yep, I'm the youngest and never wanted kids. We entertained the idea for more than a few years but in the end decided it wasn't something we ever wanted. Family still pokes at it occasionally, but thankfully they don't get a say in the matter.

 

That's when you say you have kids and pull out pictures of your pets. That really gets people going.

 

Lol we do have pictures of our pets both past and present up.

 

there you go. Just keep pictures of them in your wallet/purse/whatever you want to carry, i don't judge. Then do the "they just grow up so fast, don't they" and talk abou them like people. I actually did this with my puppy and someone got pissed lol. As Bill Burr said (not verbatim) your kid bites someone and they go to timeout, my dog bites someone and she gets put down. The stakes are higher.

Oh I'm all for it and would do the same, but with more beer and it wouldn't come out as well so I'd just get matching dents on the other side

So, unfortunately, I could hear both....and welcome hearing both at the appropriate time and circumstance.

However, I'm just going to be real here.....My daughter is unbelievably smart. Like.....scary smart. My son....wellllllllllllll.....he's going to learn shit the hard way his whole life.

So, what I'm saying is, I somewhat expect it from him and with his current 5 year old attitude and practices, he will be much better suited for a life of struggling in the early years. He also has the ethics required to "make things happen" for a very young family.

My daughter, is riddled with anxiety. She wouldn't be able to cope with her life making a sudden turn like that. She's 7. Her entire week is planned out as of Sunday night. Outfits, shoes, jackets/coats, lunches, homework days, etc. If she comes to me with the "I'm pregnant" stuff before she's planned it, we will need a medic and Dr. Phil to talk her off a ledge.

Sam will be good though. He'll just pick up another job and make it happen.
