Is there an easy way to re-center the steering wheel if it is just a case of tooth jumping? Asking for a friend...

But you have to take the loop the opposite direction from how you did it the first time.

If your rack is "jumping teeth" you need a new one before it decides to do it for the last time on the streets. Also, Stevie Wonder's driving lessons should be ignored. :p

Sounds like some of you need to pay more attention and quit hitting shit. Or maybe just slow down before you hit it.
I've never bent a spindle, or fucked up any part of the steering components. Still running all original cams and adjusters, drives straight and hasn't needed an alignment since I finished the lift. And I do wheel it. It's also a daily driver.
    :D :burp: :crapstorm:

the original ones ate it at around or just before 200,000 miles. The cheap shit Moogs went down in less that 20,000 miles. The OEM replacements are still going strong at 30,000 miles. This has not been every year. If it would have been done right the first time, it would have been once in 24 years. So I guess it's been twice in 24 years but I don't count the Moog garbage. That was an expensive way to save money. :anonymous:
I've also replaced the steering rack once, due to leaking and being worn out, also around the 200K mark.

Whats up everybody. Flying to CO from MD in mid March for a snowboard trip. We're staying in Denver for a few days before heading to the mountains and was hoping to get some suggestions for a day hike in the area during those few days. So, if you only had one day to hike within driving distance of Denver, where would you go? Thnx in advance

I do. lol but i should have specified, i'll be with a group of probably 11 people with varying degrees of technical hiking experience. So probably something that will be doable for everybody. I don't think the girls will like painful hikes as much as some of us do...
