From reports around the web 4-6 weeks means months for them. It's a shame cause they make some nice stuff.

I had been trying to find info on what grease is used, looked like a type of silicone paste rather than a normal moly grease. Thanks for the info!

Small world. I lived a few blocks from there for years. Have eaten a metric fuck ton of food there (as well as the Arby's just off to the left of this pic). That glass building used to be a bank.

You'll love it, I think! I got one a couple years back and it's nice. The throw is shorter but the lever is longer, which almost cancel each other out in my book, but it makes the lever easier to reach. Could not get their locking collar to seat properly no matter how hard I pressed on it with my thumbs - so I reused the stock one and it went in on the first try. Another tip, don't grease the threads that connect the two pieces of the lever.

I only notice the gear noise in 4th for some reason, but it is louder. The positive feel of selecting a gear makes up for it! Feels better than when new, to me.

I got lucky and they had them in stock when I ordered. Free shipping, too! My lever tends to loosen up from vibration, also. I've been putting up with that for almost two years now, but I thought it was because I dabbed grease on the connecting threads! I think I'll go in there this weekend and blue loctite mine too!!

That’s awesome, small world indeed! They send me to Auburn once every couple years or so. That was my second trip last year when I discovered Taco Time. I haven’t made it into the city of Seattle yet, aside from the ride back to the airport. Each time I’ve finished up early and headed out to Mt. Rainier National Park. We don’t have mountains like that back East. I need a few days to really appreciate it instead of an afternoon. I can barely get into the park in a few hours.

Ha! Glad to see some other fans out there. I grew up going to the one in Corvallis OR. I latter spent some time in San Diego and learned that these weren't "real" tacos. They'll always be one of my favorite comfort foods!

I know this isn't the lunch table, but IDGAF. I know Auburn/Enumclaw like the back of my hand. Can give you some places to explore and hook you up with some peeps that frequent the area. Curious what there is in Auburn that sends you over from the east coast. PM me if you're interested and don't want to drag on here. If not, I follow the lunch table too.

Drained my newly swapped over elocker rear axle only to find that the oil was.....really frickin clean! Thanks previous owner.

The laser etched vin numbers on every window gave the impression the truck was well-cared for, but you nevertheless know. Filled it up with new synthetic 80-90 oil after buying a new $20 drain plug bolt from Toyota.

Zip tied the elocker wiring to appropriate locations, rechecked ubolt torque. Tried to thread hood release cable back into the dash plastic and almost lost it. Good, unsexy, maintenance.

I got that collar down but man it was a pain and I cut the crap outta my fingers. I had a buddy push it down and I tapped it with a dowel to get it to seat.
You right about the throw. It's a little shorter but the handel dose negate it a little. But i can make a pretty fast shift with it. Which is nice in the sand.

Lce has one as well. I went with them, I couldn't justify the MC one and others I talked to said there was really no reason to. Mines been going good for a year or so now.

Got my fogs adjusted. I of course had them upside down first. Not super special but it was easy and I'm happy with the results. I don't think the the glare is bad I looks like it in the pic but I'm not gonna be running around with them on all the time. I know I need better headlight housings.20200128_002154.jpg 20200128_002828.jpg 20200128_002845.jpg

URD and LCE look like they are the same. Add on knob for the bottom of the shift lever with a machined spacer. About $100 for the kit from either place. Front Range didn't have anything that I could find.

I’ve been extremely happy with my short throw kit from URD. Super easy to install and zero problems with it ever since. The throw is awesome and the stick height ended up right back where it used to be after I installed my 1” BL. Definitely one of my favorite mods.

For the price, I will probably have to get one. No wait like the MC one either.

Yeah they're basically the same. I welded the extension on mine so no worries about the grub screws backing out.

So I'm officially an idiot. Well already was but even more so now, cleaned the throttle body, iac, maf ect, put it all back together and shortly after pulled the infamous p0171. So I checked hoses ect everything seemed good, couldn't find any leaks. So I start thinking to myself that throttle body gasket looks weird, but I remember lining it up correctly, well I pull the throttle body and fuck me im a dumbass. Somehow I put it on sideways, how one goes about doing that with a clearly designed only goes on one way shape is beyond me. But I no longer trust myself and threw away all my tools. Who cares if I can set up gears, swap auto for manual transmission, am a machinist. I quit cause I can't match shapes like a 5 year old.

    End rant lol

    And disregard grammar
