I respect all animals but I hate cats. I am legit afraid of them... Had some bad experiences, plus they have devil eyes, claws, and are too unpredictable for my taste.

I'm a dog lover unless it's a pug... Those ain't dogs. I'll never own small dogs but they can be cool. I have 2 Great Danes, I couldn't imagine having a dog that weighed less than 100lbs lol

 

Cats are a relationship you have to earn. Which is why I like them. They get a free choice to like you. Dogs will love people who abuse them.

Its not that I hate dogs, I really mostly hate dog owners because they don’t train their animals. I’ve had a couple run ins with some out of control dogs so I no longer trust dogs because you can’t trust people.

I do hate pits though.

My experiences with animals are with very well trained bird dogs. They heal when you walk them, they don’t beg, they don’t pass people when they are walking up the stairs, no barking etc.
Most people let their dogs control them and set the rules of the house.

My hubs loves dogs. He may wear on me after awhile to get one but right now I’m adamant no dogs now though. They tear up your house, smell, get hair everywhere, they are fucking needy, and you can’t go on vacation without figuring out what to do with them, and vet bills. If anything costs more than the $75 to put em down, put em down lol.

I like cats but I’m not an animal person. I’ve raised livestock. My pets end up in my freezer so I’m not touchy feely about them.

 

Back to eating and training grind, 5 days of food to prep tomorrow.

Coach has me doing a light recovery week then we are focusing on strengthening my log press and deadlift to prep for Nationals in the summer.

My cattle dog is pretty fucking smart. At least when it comes to ball. That motherfucker will bring you a ball and put that shit RIGHT in your hand for you to throw it. I certainly did not teach him that. Little fucker comes and brings it and drops it right on my lap while I’m on the couch and don’t wanna play with him cuz he knows I’ll throw it if he puts it there.

@PackCon will be disappointed to know that he loves EVERYONE and EVERYTHING in this world... except a cat. He hates a cat with his whole being, and has made it his life’s work to eradicate the cat population. I have no idea why. Lol.
