@heroe82, inform the salesman that you will sign paperwork with 12% off MSRP.

That would be a $4,692 discount, or $34,107. Friday is the last day of the month, see how hungry they are to meet January sales goals.

Just picked up a 2020 Cement Gray TRD OR Premium w/Advanced Tech Pkg, LED Lights+Fogs, Bedmat, all-weather floor mats, door edge guards, wheel locks, and oval tube steps yesterday.

    MSRP: $45,711
    PAID: $39,469

Works out to 13.66% below MSRP.

Prices do NOT include TTL, but they didn't sneak anything weird in. I did do a trade but negotiated new truck price first before I brought the trade to the table. Trade was $12,250 on a 2009 TRD OR. 1 minor accident on my 2009 on carfax hurt the trade a little, but I still think it was pretty good.

Did you end up pulling the trigger on a truck? If you're in the bay area and haven't checked out Freeman in Santa Rosa, give them a shot. I managed 14.33% below MSRP in March '19 for a '19 OR DCSB MT w/ Tech + Premium.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'm still undecided but will give them a try if I decide to go forward.

Well, at least some details. I was referring to the comments like "I paid $40333 out the door", which is almost as meaningless as "I scored mine for $440/month".

That’s a good deal. I’d try to not pay the dealer fees tho.

What the heck is a $799 “dealer service fee”? I would love to hear your salesman’s response when you ask him.

Your post a few pages back simply asked.
And I'll quote. " I'm waiting for people to post their monthly payments here."
What part of your question did I not answer to your expectations?

Well....almost a word for word quote. :anonymous:

I’ve been told that steps and the like are considered installed at port and cannot be removed/taken off the price. Every Taco in my region gets steps.

Mine wasn't a terrible experience, but I've never had a vehicle buying experience that I'd call "pleasant" lol. There's always some amount of bullsh*t you have to deal with.
What kind of discount did you get? I'm curious how others did at this dealer.

This is true and I find it very irritating. These trucks are too expensive already to also force buyers to purchase overpriced accessories.

I put down a deposit this evening.

White TRD Off Road, double cab, short bed, automatic, 4x4
    Premium package
    Advanced tech package
    LED Headlights
    Cargo bed light
    Blackout kit
    power tailgate lock
    R2 textured tube step
    all weather floor mats
paint protection film, w/ lifetime warranty

    MSRP: 46,890
    Price: 41,780 + ttl
    Discount: 10.9%

I'll be driving 2.5 hours to OKC, which is in a different region, and has $1000 rebate (vs. $500 here).

The local dealer was stuck at about $42.5 + trailering cost for a less equiped truck that MSRPs for 45.1 that was a lot further away.

From what I've read, this deal is good, but not spectacular. Its exactly what I want. It arrives at port on Feb 3, I should have it mid Feb.

Dealers use your zip code for all taxes, registration fees, etc. Is it not the same with factory rebates?

I bought a 2020 TRD Pro so I am probably a bad example of a discount. The truck had predator steps, bed lights, and mud flaps. I didn’t want any of the accessories. They took off the mud flaps and threw in the steps and lights for no additional charge. MSRP was $46,XXX and they gave me an additional $1,000 off before TTL. They pushed all the extended warranties and paint protection stuff, but stuck to my guns and declined.

I was joking. Posting out the door price doesn’t mean much. Posting a monthly payment means a magnitude less because there’s a half dozen factors involved: (sales price, down payment, trade in value, interest rate, loan term, local taxes, etc).

Yes. Paid 42.8 for the truck. Then add taxes etc etc etc. Total of loan then sucks. Lol
