    I used that box for an extra cupholder and a manual transmission. :D In all seriousness though, I don't get why Toyota couldn't have fit two cup holders on the A/Ts up front. Infinite wisdom decision making: two seats, one cup holder.

    Thanks for all the support guys! It’s a useless square hole and I have no clue why Toyota designed it that way. I have a feeling it was for cosmetic purposes, because where it meets the gear shift is a perpendicular line.
    This is why I made something to fill the hole that has a purpose! I offer a coin holder, along with an empty bucket version(both with lids)
