    r4e how many miles does your 01 have on it? Is your starter going bad or something?

    Mean Greens are a modded Bosch starter if I remember right. I know the old Yotas had Boschs from the factory. Mean Green makes some $$ starters for race cars too.

    Price a genuine Toyota one. Its not that far off.

    Over 150k - starter chokes up from time to time when I remote start. I think it may be time to change or perhaps starter relay?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    Mean green makes some quality stuff. I ran 2 of their starters on a couple vehicles, and never had a starter issue on them. They are pricey....
