He's like "if the customer pays, we'll just need an axle housing and go from there swapping parts over"

He's not excited about the crush sleeve though that requires over 1200lbs torque.

I've done a mod or two
The Dana 70s, 80s and 90s aren't really supposed to be set up by hand haha.

    Good question

Think a better question is how'd he get suckered into paying so much to replace rear shocks and leaf pack.

Dude. I saw a damn Dana 80 with a bent axle thanks to a 40 mph smack into a curb.

I'm going to look at this Texas/Louisiana owned LX470 tomorrow night. Had a good conversation with the owner tonight. It has the running boards that I don't want.

Currently has 235,000 miles. Timing belt and water pump replaced at 210,000. Owner reports a problem with the electric tilt steering wheel that is my concern.

    This one might clean up.

Not on mine. I have records of the tcase being "resealed due to leaks" from the PO. It leaks because the dumbass never used 4lo.

    Factory.

Not sure you saw but yesterday after I got done wheeling, my transmission was leaking from the pan.

I had just pulled the month 2 months ago, scraped the orange stuff off the pan and transmission, and sealed it up with a gasket and new fluid. I went outdoors multiple times since then and never had an issue until yesterday.

It's not bleeding out or anything so I'm in no rush to tackle it just yet as long as I keep an eye on it and keep the fluid topped off.

Hoping to knock it out next week.
