I went down it 2 or 3 times already and yet here I sit stock height. I think I was trying to get the most out of my suspension before I switch. Stock actually is quite capable...aftermarket just makes everything easier

I hear that. Only so much money to go around. That’s why I don’t run them. But I think about them at least once a week.

Yeah, I would love to have those...but not worth it at this point for me. Could use that money on other things. Like more truck parts :spy:

Probably just a case of people using their trucks primarily on the street and not being happy with the handling.

Took a whole page for a good answer. All the bs above.....

If you are going to offroad and not just some fire road shit or mall crawl then you should run E rated. Rocks can shred tires. I've done it! It sucked! Thank the Toyota gods for a full size spare!
    Good luck!

I’m running 6112/5160’s with E 265 75 16 KO2s. I forget what notches the 6112s are set at but I think it was just under 2” lift and I have the headstrong progressive aal in the back, replacing my helper spring.

After I initially installed the suspension, I did notice the ride was a little more harsh than the stock OR Billys. After running this suspension for around 2 years now, I don’t notice the harshness at all.

I have this exact setup, 6112/5160 with the icon AAL in the rear. Have 265/75-16 load e duratracs and I’m completely fine with how it handles on the road. The duratracs get louder over time so be prepared for that, but with it only being 10” wide it doesn’t wonder like wider tires and that size fits the spare and no spacers are needed. Now to note I did have those tires before the lift, now that the lift has been on and the tires will eventually wear down, I’m debating on doing a 255/85-16. But with the issue of the transmission and hunting gears I’m real reluctant to wait to go bigger tires after a regear this summer.
