Wag bags - get em at Sports Chalet. I also get those blue rubber gloves from Harbor Frieght. Take a poo wipe your butt with the blue gloves on (with TOILET PAPER!). Throw the rubber glove in the wag bag and you will be fresh and clean!!!

Really - the desert isn' the place to take a poo with this many guys! Like you say, it will be a mine feild and the wildlife out their will dig it up sometimes... also all that tp that people think will desinigrate - IT'S THE DESERT!!!! NOT A RAIN FOREST!!!

After using these things on a backpacking trip in the Zion narrows, I don't go on any trip with out them!!!

If we were camping in the Western Sierras it might be different.

 

haha, wag bags. it'll be like hiking mt whiney again. i had to use my wag bag on the switchbacks coming down the mountain. no cover and concealment... i took a dump right in the open

Get some GPS numbers and a google earth pic, we had people that never found our FJ event! Also Jake the bad assed way to go, is to go down Split Mtn road from Ocotillo Wells, make a left at the train tracks and floor it! go about 6 miles and follow the pole line over to the mountain. 50-70 all the way.
