Ok, so I previously purchased Pkg1. I want to upgrade to Pkg2, placing the second plug up by the passenger footwell with the first plug at the back of the console.

What parts do I need and price?

 

Give me a little bit to release the price. I will be out most of today and tomorrow. Just checking here and there, but then I’ll be back on here most likely Sunday. Quickly, first plug will be taken care of by Package 1 19” and your second plug that you are wanting to install at the passenger side kick panel should be good with a 5Ft Extension. I’m thinking the regular Package 2 will be good. You shouldn’t need to upgrade to the 19” or upgrade to the 10Ft. As for the price, I’ll have to get back to you on the one on Sunday.

That is correct. Package 1 comes first which is why I released it first and that is why I did it this way Which is what I explained in the very beginning. Package 2 and Package 3 will be combination Packages that build off of Package 1 and then you have the option of the Extension Harnesses of 5ft and 10ft depending on where you are going to be installing your additional Power Outlets inside your Cab or your Truck. This was the plan from the beginning and hopefully now everyone will see how it all comes together as one Full Complete Package

 

Do you have a diagram/picture of how pkg 2 connects to pkg 1? Im having trouble imaging where the junction block fits.

Also, is there a link to the order for the junction box?

You would need Package 1 and Package 2. I would think that the 5ft would reach there. Just to give you an idea, when I did the mod for routing my wiring from the opener to the cigarette lighter, I routed my wiring from the passenger kick panel, down the side foot panel, across the carpet under the seat, and then up the side to where the cigarette lighter is located. That took a total of 48" of wiring. You can order on the website. I actually have not made instructions because I find this one hard to do instructions with as everyone is installing their outlets in different locations. However, I do have a link on the first post of my own install. I also have a link to how to remove panels and access this area. If you have any other questions please feel free to contact me

 

There is a Toyota OEM car cigarette 12V plug inside the counsel arm rest compartment, I think its commonly used for plugging in things like a CB or HAM radio and whatnot. Could this be re-positioned / combined with the 120v plug somehow so they are both installed outward from the back of the counsel arm rest facing the back of the cab ?

Also, if my thinking is correct here, wouldnt that give oneself the option of both 12v and 120v plugs at the same time ?

Separately, how many watts does that 12v plug provide compared to the 120v plug at 400 ?

 

I have package 1 and I ordered all the toyota parts from original post with the plug and the USB dual outlet listed. My question is what do I connect the wires off the USB outlet to?

 

Your can connect them to the power outlet in the console. See my pics in post #316.

If you don't have one there, you can extend the wires and run them up to the power outlet under the AC controls.

 

Thank you. Is there a video or instructions on how to hook up package 1? Getting the console off etc. is easy, where do I connect the red wire off the plug and the black wire off the extension?

 

I have some additional out my pics in post #305.

Tap into to the power port in the storage compartment. Yellow is positive, connect it to the red wire for the USB. White w/blk is negative, connect it to the black wire for the USB , or connect the black USB to the chassis ground next to the inverter.

 

Don't know about a video but, the brown and white PNP harness will only go in 1 way. Unplug the factory harness from the inverter and put in the PNP harness between the factory harness and the inverter. Then the little black JST connector will mate to the JST plug on the other end of the harness that plugs into the back of the 110 V outlet.
It is IMPORTANT that you connect the ground wires. The eyelets can be connected to the stamped steel bracket under one of the existing screws. If you do not connect this ground wires, the system won't work.
