@upTOPoverland Heya, quick question. The quickWIRE harness for the Alpha racks, it hooks to all the lights and gets it through the thinfin, but how long is the harness overall? Only just long enough to get it inside the cab, or does it have a load of extra length to it? Did a search and didn't come up with anything, and the page for the quickWIRE on the website doesn't say.

The harness gives you 18ft from connection point outside thinFIN

Thanks for that, and sorry for being thick as sh*t. For some reason it didn't register that your post on the previous page was in reference to the quickWIRE harness.:rofl:

I had enough to run from the ThinFin all the way to my SPOD under the hood.

Lol the quote messed up so I thought you were asking the question again. I was like "wasn't this answered a few posts ago?" Damn that is quite a lot of cable. They definitely upgraded that since the original one.

Damn, mine didn't make it there. Did you run the wires on the roof or floor?

I ran it down the rear pillar along the door jams with the rest of the factory wires on the drivers side through the grommet in the firewall

    Can you share the harness?

I need something for my scenepods.

Never done any wiring before so this is all new to me.

The harness that UpTOP offers is intended for scene pods and fairing but you can use it for whatever you like. It is a 16 guage harness so I would keep it below a 10 amp draw. You will need to provide applicable fuses and relays.

Awesome! Exactly why I asked as that’s what I’m looking to do. Already have an sPOD installed on mine. :) Thanks!

So if I was adding more lights up there I should run at least another negative wire up there correct?

If you want a whole separate circuit you can use the extra set of wires in harness or you could tap off the existing scene pods or fairing. Or you could run a separate harness through the second hole in thinFIN. It all depends on what your current setup is and what you are trying to achieve.

Makes sense. Planning on having an additional 20in dual row light bar and 2 amber 3x2 pods. Was going to use the 2 extra wired in the harness for the positives.
