Well, the badge says Canyon, but regardless, seems they're trying hard to make a 1500 mini me. Point Taco.

Edit: Just realized it's GMC, so Canyon/Colorado, same thing I'm guessing.

Any problem getting the UCA bolt out? I see where some people bend metal.

@B619 - 3’ x 4’ x 3/4” mat from Northern Tool for $20. Obviously, it does not cover the whole bed. Purchase 2 of them and trim to fit. One was good for me.

I've got one that I got off Amazon which has a sleeve that fits over the receiver (rubber) with a hinge that holds it when in use. Would be easy enough to cut off, but prevents a grab and dash at least.

I bought one of these with a lock. The lock will also secure the hitch when installed. Now I just need a truck to put it on.

I went through the same thing with mine. I had the shield hitch plate and lock 2 months before my truck arrived.

Yeah. Guilty. I have a stockpile of things sitting on my workbench and the tonneau cover is slated for delivery on Friday. AG Pro is on the train and is scheduled to arrive at the dealership 3-10 Feb.

Installed the complete tailgate lock kit from @KTJO 4x4 and couldn’t be happier. No drilling and all plug and play

I keep my radiator destroyer in mine at all times. Use a locking pin also.

Very little bending required. The trick that no one tells you is to pull the wire harness on the driver’s side and the AC lines on the pax side out of the way from the top before you begin. The driver’s side harness requires removal of a (you guessed it) 10mm bolt.

I did mine a couple days ago and absolutely love it. I added a 2 pin waterproof connector at the same location as the backup camera plug in case I need to remove the tailgate, and I wrapped the wire harness in foil tape where I ran it next to the factory wrapped harness near the muffler.
