Can’t tell anything happened. Leave it just like that.

I’m sure the powers that be would be very interested in your likeness for a recruiting campaign.

I know I'm beating a dead horse and I'm sorry! :deadhorse: This truck is 99% a daily driver and I'm not rich. Also don't want the truck to ride like a buckboard wagon but stiffer than stock is ok. I'm used to that with the 884/5100 combo.

I know the BEST option for my lift situation is to get coilovers. However I'm just can't justify or willing to spend $1500-up. I could go hog wild if I wanted more credit card debt. I'm just reading so many conflicting opinions on the 886/5100 combo. I understand the 5100 isn't valved for the 886. Some people say they've done it and it's ok, others say no way. Most opinions seem to be from double cab owners, or access cab owners with no armor. Shouldn't the 886 ride better with weight up front?
I would like to get a 2.5" front lift to closely match the rear.

    So working with a budget:
Change to 886, stick with 5100s and hope for the best $180 <--- read the 5100s have longer travel than OME shocks?
Change to 886, get OME front and rear shocks $750 <--- read issues with this too, anecdotes maybe?
Get spacers, not the best to compensate for extra weight $75

    For reference:
    Stock: Front 20.25"
    Rear 22"

    No bumper/winch 884/5100/3 leaf AAL: Front 22"
    Rear 24"

    Bumper/winch 884/5100/3 leaf AAL: Front 21"
    Rear 24"

I have OME 90000 and brand new 886’s I’ll sell you for $250. You’d just need to get some rear shocks. Certainly much cheaper than buying new.

Nah. I’ve done weather techs, that’s it. I did however get me something I can beat up and get dirty...

it’s got a new ball joints and hub bearings, 4.5” lift,33s and new exhaust. It’s been consuming my time and money... just empty every pocket.

Thanks Jim, I’m after an LX470 or Land Cruiser though. Those GX’s are neat but they’re just 4runners at the end of the day.

Vote for Pedro. @EricL you coming down for Adams party?
