    Solar charging is quite advanced
But you are right. No grid=no pumping gas= dead on the side of the gas station ..

Lets stop right here. You cannot pump your own gas in Oregon.
And how do you pay for it if no grid? Cannot get cash out either at ATM.

LOL. What does that have to do with anything?! I have lived all over the US. If there's no grid, there's no need to pay!!! Besides....it be wayyyyy easier to figure making something "Pumping" from one place to another...as opposed to trying to figure out how to generate enough electricity to power an EV.

Won’t work, Prius is fuel injected. Need old carburetor design motors. However, my lawn tractor, chain saw and gas powered drill will work.

True but its not what you think. Current electric vehicle sale from manufactures like Audi, Jaguar & others besides Tesla are absolutely atrocious. So much so that Mercedes canceled bringing there first full electric EQC to the states until further notice. Current E-Tron sales are so bad Audi is offering a lease that is so cheap that its absurd for current dealer employees. Full electric vehicles will not replace ICE engines for a longggg time. The infrastructure is not even remotely close to even allowing a medium size increase in these vehicles being on the roadways & needing charging. Most homes need to have major changes to fully support electric car charging as well. Dont even get me started on owning one in say Wyoming, Montana or the Dakotas. Then you have the 1/2 mile long lines to charge your Tesla in busy weekends/holidays at Supercharger stations let alone deal with there awful customer service/build quality.

    ICE engine says

This. Plus I was made aware from the beginning (before gun culture became a trend) that all tacoma owners had two things in common- they like guns and Natalie Portman. At least, that’s what I was told. So naturally I sided with tacomas.

"Electric vehicles can be charged at power draws comparable to various household appliances. Most electric vehicles charging at home on a 240-volt level 2 charger will draw about 7,200 watts or less. For comparison, a typical electric furnace draws about 10,000 watts and a water heater uses 4,500 watts" -
    www.energy.gov

Not saying the tech is where it needs to be now but when it comes to automotive R&D - this is THE area that EVERYONE is working on. Change is coming no matter what we believe and in spite of whether or not we like it. It's happening.

Meh. Looks like cliche CGI teenager fantasy.

I prefer real, unique women who break the mold.
