Boca Reservoir has a fire road that is open all year round. I went there for the MLK weekend and had a blast. You guys been there?

Does anyone use a local shop in San Jose? I'm looking to replace my leaf spring and wanted to go to a reliable spot. Thanks!

Swat Customs in Fremont. They're expensive but they stand behind their work and will go over all the options with you.

To replace leaf springs? Isn’t it just 4 bolts? Lol. And we want to send him to a custom shop?

If you can’t do it yourself just go to the local corner shop and ask if they swap out leaf springs. Buy your own via lift you want and....

wallaaaaaaa. Presto, New lift and/or new leaf springs.

But if you want customs stuff like chevy’s, (don’t know why) go to a fabricator.

Probably the taco. Better gas mileage and I don’t think any of my kids are coming, but if a couple of them are I’ll bring the 80.

You realize that the San Mateo “Truck Show” is just one big advertisement for 4Wheel Parts, right? I am sure there will be something interesting but, for the most part, it will be chinese built/poorly engineered/show type stuff. The parking lot will probably have more interesting vehicles than the actual “show”...

It’s 6’ lifted trucks and bolt on Jeeps. There’ll be a few race vehicles. If you wanna buy a winch or something, it might be an OK deal (likely better deals on-line). As was mentioned, it’s 4WP on steroids.

    Parking won’t be free.

It's interesting, but I wouldn't go too far out of your way to attend. It's 4WP for sure, but there are manufacturers there showing their stuff. Can be some cool stuff and builds to see. I can go through it in 30-60 minutes.
