Let's do some good for Mother Natch and clean up after the fucktards that ruin all the fun

And have some fun while we're out there like grill up some food after the clean up

first date that pops into my mind is the 3-day weekend coming up in February (15-17). Not sure if everyone has that Monday off, but weather permitting, possibly turn into an over-night trip?

Doing the work behind the scenes to see what can be done. 866142F2-22A7-406A-9FF0-388147B5994B.jpgI went up there to see what was going on and maybe catch a DNR person hanging around. Weather permitting I’m heading down to Sedro-Woolley to the DNR office tomorrow. Worst thing they could say is no.

you're not going to get them to reverse that decision. It's all over the off road groups on FB.

clean up is a great idea. that presidents day weekend works, but I don't have that Monday off.

This area didn't get shut down because of garbage, it got shut down because of erosion and environmental impact on the river. The massive amounts of garbage just brought attention to the Ecologic problems.

wouldn’t garbage and old cars with engines in them with oil that are being dumped into the rivers be a cause of erosion and environmental impact on the rivers
I always see news in Seattle they have a problem in the sodo area where all those rvs are parked
The storm water is being used as a sewer along with all the garbage now it’s a huge problem C5580F8C-E87D-4D0A-B26D-95BC7837B5EA.jpg

The creation of trails kills vegetation which allows erosion and changes runoff patterns. Oil and plastic in the water definitely isnt helping things either

    Yeah thats true
In that case there was a lot of older jeeps going through everything
    With huge swampers tires
Probably locals they had no doors or tops
And one Jeep Cherokee was in the middle of no where stuck he tried to go through a lot of bushes 16B71A75-2C07-49EA-813A-35DB706F2CEE.jpg
It was a pain in the ass to get him out of there
Should have probably left him there
