It's such a weird and specific mod that I think I'm probably the only person with it.

Required a tiny bit of DIY and to sacrifice my middle headrest, but it was pretty easy overall.

Well, I wanted a bright light pointing backwards for when I pick up wood for the cottage (it's pitch black usually). I also prefer a lightly modded or OEM look, so I didn't want an exterior light bar.

I took inspiration from this meme even though I 100% do not plan on actually doing this to people.

    Parts needed:
    - 9" lightbar (double row) with proper wiring and adjustable 'feet'
    - Rotary tool with metal bit (dremel)
    - Middle headrest
    - Screw that fits in to hole of headrest posts

Basically I just cut off the posts from the headrest, screwed in the lightbar, and that's it. Pretty simple. I haven't actually wired it up yet, but I'll get to that soon. Too many things going on right now.

I also might add a smoke layer over the lens, as it's a little too visible from the outside for my liking.

Well I have the auto glass door, so I'll certainly open it when I use the light.

If it does scatter too much, I'll makeshift some sort of blinders (like on a horse) to endure it's not too bad.

    I'll know soon enough though.

Darkened the headrest light bar so it's a little more stealthy from outside. I can always remove the tint if I don't find it bright enough anymore.

It's snowed a lot recently so I haven't gotten around to as many things as I'd like. I'll knock out a few of my to-do list items when I get some time and decent weather.

Kicker Hideaway Sub (under front driver's seat) and Kicker Tweeters installed. Sounds great! It's exceeded my expectations for sure.

Also long range remote start module installed. I decided to attach the receiver to my Go Pro mount. The wires arent visible if you're seated.

Hey! question for you regarding the hideaway. When you installed under the passenger seat, did you remove or rotate the support bar? In my second gen I rotated it, and it worked fine, but I havent pulled the seat in my third gen yet to see whats under there! glad to see you got it done though

Nah, it slid right in nice and snugly. I keep my seat all the way down and back, so there's plenty of room.

I checked in my sport, seems like I’ll need to do some adjustments down there to make it fit right.. it is on your passenger side right?

It's on my driver's side. Might be different than the passenger?

Oh! Yes, it’s different. The passenger seat has a metal support under it. Your orig post was a little confusing- thanks for getting back to me though!

I see the confusion - I wrote passenger and not drive's side. My bad man. Probably should have paid closer attention.

Good luck with yours though! I'm really happy with mine :)

For what purpose? Just to blind those behind you? Or is there a real benefit here

I needed a bright rear light for when I load wood in to my bed at night at the cottage. It's pitch black and I can't get super close because of all the trees. I prefer a stealthy OEM look, so I didn't want anything on the outside of the truck. I could have used the 400w plug, but I kinda wanted something semi-permanent and unique.

Blinding tailgaters is just a bonus.
