I made cavatappi noodles with venison (fried in butter on my cast iron) and sauce (cream of mushroom and turkey gravy base thinned with chicken stock)

Hey, speaking of steel........I happened on the Brute Force Fab website the other day. They have really decent priced armor! I compared their rear h/c bumper with all the options to a couple of the competitors and they were 2/3rds as much, not including p/c.

Tomorrow is my chili day. I'll make venison chili with beans, too.

I've been experimenting with beanless recipes, but I like chili with beans.

Chili has to have some kind of beans in it. Unless it is chili for a hotdog.

 

Every year we have a contest here at work. In two weeks will be the 19th annual. I have taken prizes home a couple times. I make traditional chili with 3 types of beans, tomatoes, onion, garlic, cumin, some red pepper, chili peppers, and beef.

Our other category is Non-Traditional chili. I won't even try those. Last thing I want is pumpkin chili!
