After running errands today, and the amount of idiots I saw on the road, the number could actually be much higher.

Depending on when you're going, Whiskeytown is cool if you ride mountain bikes or like to hike. Otherwise I've mostly backpack camped in the Trinity Alps and Russian Wilderness. What kind of camping are you wanting to do?

 

Near the town of McCloud, off Hwy 89, there's a car camping spot called Fridays RV Retreat. Stayed there a couple times. It's about 30 minutes off of Hwy 5.

Peace out the 5 and head up to camp at Burney falls from Redding. Then cruise up the 97 through Klamath falls to bend. Much better drive, But it a little longer.

 

I heard there's bears 'round them parts.

Pretty much just looking for a spot to start a fire and get some shut eye on the way back. I'm going to take a gander at the route today and see if anything tickles my fancy.

 

You've obviously never been to the WalMart in Clearlake. 90% of the store is under lock and key. Thank you tweakers!

 

Lmao... I try and stay away from the entire Clear Lake area. That place will zap one's faith in humanity in a heart beat. Last time I was through there it looked like an episode of The Walking Dead with all the tweakers.

 

Can’t blame them. You can walk in and take whatever you want nowadays. Workers can’t do anything about it.

Was at Target last night and saw this younger group of girls unpacking stuff and putting it in their pockets.

 

Under $900 is completely cool now. Guess I need to start making some Walmart runs outside of town

I've camped here a bunch. The view is spectacular. If you head north east about a couple miles the view only gets better.

So i'm looking at ordering gears/lockers from @ECGS and stuck on weather or not to get a front locker
For the people who have a front locker, who has used it and if you were starting over would you get it or skip it

I was in the same boat when I was ordering gears. I ended up getting front locker. If I have to do it all over again, I still would get the front locker. Broke front axel once because front was locked, but it was my mistake. Front locker has helped me get in to spots where I wouldn't been able to otherwise. Plus, if you decided to add front locker later on, it will cost you arm and leg.
