Enough to make it a lot of fun!
That is a fair question, it could be considered be possessed but that is how he sleeps in the truck during camping trips.

Boomer is a very aggressive chewer and seems to have a goal of destroying the toy and removing any internals like a squeaker. We tried all kinds of toys from fire hose material, to rubber and anything else we could find. Rubber Kong toys only last about 1/2 hour when he was younger, and the first "indestructible" fire hose type material feared about 5 minutes before it's contents we all over the floor.

Try Godog toys available on Amazon, least that is where I get them. Any "new" version of these seems to last a few days to a week with him till he finds the "combination". If he has had the same toy before they last only until he decides it is TIME, once he decides to destroy it it is still gone but it takes him a bit (10-15 min).

I have also found that he typically chews more and more aggressively when bored. So when possible, if I catch him chewing in a more destructive manner I take him out and work with him, run him, or get him to run. If I am able to engage him mentally and physically for 10+20 minutes he will be pretty relaxed for an few hours and less likely to chew. He is 7 now and still runs/plays ball every morning before work and evening when I get him for 10-20 minutes rain or shine.

    Good luck!!

I've had luck with Kong's Duramax dumbbell. Pup goes nuts for squeakers and it's the only one that he can get his teeth around and hasn't destroyed.

Sometimes its cathartic to share. My boy had had the runny poos for two weeks. It happened from time to time since he was always eating my two year old's food. So we had him on chicken and rice. Yesterday he wouldn't eat it so I took him to the vet to get a check figuring he'd eating one of her toys or some other random thing. Blood test came back with high calcium readings which is a bad sign. Scan of the tummy region showed three masses. F'n lymphoma. 1a this morning I had to put him down. 3.5 years old. Not long enough. It's never long enough. I'll miss my buddy. He was the best. RIP Lincoln dog.
