I had a full load of snow, must have been multiple branches KEEEERRRRRRRPLOOOOBOOOOMMM....on my windshield while proceeding at approximately 35mph. Complete white out and wipers wouldn't budge....they were on already......that put your nads in yer throat....but yeah I stopped!

As I looked at the video it seemed to me that, perhaps, she had not cleared her roof of snow and when she braked at the intersection it slid down over her windshield. Instead of stopping, though, she just kept driving and.....boom.

How are you holding up waiting for your Tacoma Mark? In St.Maarten they have both the US version as well as the Hilux. The new Hilux with a diesel is pretty good looking. Shame we cant get the diesel in the states. Only a few more days Mark.

I'm antsy - it's supposed to come off the train tomorrow and then be at the dealership between the 3rd and 10th. I'm figuring sometime mid next week or so, if I'm lucky.

    Morning, Duane!

Dealer update today shows my truck on the train in Annapolis, MD today and going to either Baltimore or Newark for offloading tomorrow. Still scheduled for delivery to the dealer between 3-10 Feb. Getting closer.

When I ordered my truck four years ago, the salesman didnt explain clearly to me where my truck was, so I misinterpreted one of the last steps before my truck was delivered, then he was telling me I needed to come in to pick it up. He knew I went home on Friday after work, my home being two hours away, so I was able to pick the truck up on a Sunday, a couple days after he left a message. He didn't keep me informed for the earlier movements. Maybe I expected too much.

I think it is a function of the salespeople/dealership. They have access to build/movement/delivery date projections through the Toyota ordering system once the vehicle is built. I'm fortunate to have a friend at the dealership where I'm buying who fives me periodic updates.

As Mark said Rob "safe travels and have fun". Sometimes you just got to have that as I say "mental health away time". Enjoy.

Good morning from here in northeast PA..or as they say it here Nordeast PeeYay! Today is the last January day that I will be among the employed. Ever.

Oh, it's one day closer to getting my truck. Dealership thinks they will have it on Monday or Tuesday - hope to have it Wednesday or Thursday.

    Enjoy your weekends!!
