    Have you considered an Android Head unit?
    The ATATO A6 gets good reviews...

    *edit* and the toyota specific version comes with the wiring harness so you're good to go...

    I've had both. Ran Nitto Terra Grapplers for a while - probably 3-4 sets on two different trucks. Last one was the G2 version. Great tire, quiet, balanced well and at least for me they lasted 50k miles. I rotate them every 5k miles. I think they have a 65k mile warranty but I try to sell them used while they still have some life in them to lessen the blow on the cost of new tires. I probably would have stayed with them but on the last set I mistook my wheel bearings going bad for loud tire hum on the G2 version and switched to Bridgestone Revo 2. Turns out the tires were fine, but they were already sold with 15k miles on them. The Revos were great too but I wanted something more aggressive looking and that's when I tried the WP's. They seems similiar to the BFG KO2's which I never tried because they don't sell a P metric 285/70R17 and I want to keep the weight down. LT's are too heavy IMO for our trucks. Anyway, the WP's are awesome. Although I did not have the balancing issues that some have had. I think those issues were mainly in the 265/70R17 variety. Maybe a bad mold in that size. So I have about 35k on the WP's so far and tread is down to 8/32 so I think I should make it another year to 50k at which point I will get them again. Keep in mind, I don't take my truck off road so can't comment on the off-road ability. Just NE winters and maybe a once a year beach run.

    Any of you guys good with electrical stuff? I got a Northstar 27F AGM battery about this time last year. It's been fine, no issues at all but came across this thread:

    and started wondering if I need to or should do this voltage booster mod. My ultraguage reads ECM voltage consistently in the 13.4-13.9 range. Going to put my multimeter on the battery terminals to get a direct measurement this evening. From what I understand in that thread, the battery will be fine at the lower voltage but will probably shorten it's life. I never have it on a charger like some in that thread state but I drive it everyday.

    I have the cooper discoverer HT on the Tacoma. They've been a good tire. Nothing awesome, but good. Took them trail / mudding one time & they handled it all without issue.
    There was conversations about Coopers some time back - perhaps on the N.E. thread. Overall well liked as I recall. I've not noticed any feedback on Maxxis tires.

    I had some nittos on a turbo Saab some time back. I liked them a lot at first, but when time to replace them I felt they hadn't been worth paying the premium price again & moved on to something else.
