I've been planning a trip for a few weeks now, so I'm glad to have stumbled across this. Interested in joining up with you guys, but if there are closures then why not push the date?

We'll probably be there around the same time too. I assume you're taking 20 east there? My work is right off of 20, so we could meet up and convoy there...

Aw man, I wish I could come out - y'all bama folks like to wheel hard and are good folks. We're working on selling our house and moving downtown, so no wheeling for me until the dust settles.

@Built2Ride , I know you missed chocco, you seen this?

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!

There is an overlook on West Cowpen with a magnificent view. You can’t miss it since the platform is immediately off the road. I also recommend stoping at Jacks River. There is a parking lot and a short trail down to the Conasauga River.

And just a heads up if you go before 3/5 you’ll hit this gate preventing you from doing the bottom portion of the loop. The gate is right at a very nice overlook as well. B47BBCE4-7CCC-42F2-9ADA-D97DB6F548A3.jpg

I’m going to take Friday off. Me and @gixxerphil are planning on coming on Friday and camping. My son will be with me. We will probably do trail on Saturday and head back toward Auburn camping somewhere along the way back home Saturday night.

I would be down for Saturday the 29th. I have a pretty stock trd sport 4x4 with a 2” inch lift, would I be able to make it through more of the technical portions?
