Why would you want to put a firearm in a safe while in the truck?

At Post Office, technically can't have it even in the parking lot (property) even locked in vehicle. So whats the difference? Proceed as advised.
There is no state statute against a CWL holder from carrying in a bank.

So nice living in a free state. Unlike the one I came from.

I recently moved to a new state and haven't got my carry permit yet, so I lock mine up while on the way to and from the woods or range for legal reasons. I also like having the option to store something under lock when I don't want to carry. My woods carry choice is usually my Glock 40MOS in a chest rig. I'm not a fan of open carry in public, so it always goes in the box if I have to go in anywhere.

Lock'er Down, purchased directly. Great build quality, several lock options, no issues with fitment. I'd highly recommend one.

    Lock'er Down® 2016 up Toyota Tacoma Console Safe (4 Digit Combination) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072YQ3SF1/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_qQgnEb2ZCCGEE

I've had one in my last Tacoma. Have one in my 2019 OR. Best option out imo. I'm a welder/fabricator trust me this thing is built solid as a rock. This one comes with the cutout up front so you don't lose the use of the 2 USB ports in your console. People ask why do you need one? I always carry.... For one I'm not allowed to carry into my work. That's the real main reason I got it. It will fit a Glock 17 with an RMR, but barely. I carry a Glock 43 with a light and it fits no problem. I also keep several other things in there, Leatherman, flash light etc

Zactly. Even driving through the post office parking lot while in possession on you or in your vehicle is a felony. https://www.ammoland.com/2017/06/can-you-carry-a-gun-at-the-post-office/

I use this, it has a cable that wraps around your seat bracket and you can put it under seat. I didn’t want to lose my center storage. Vaultek lifepod8067BCC5-1EA3-4BE0-8461-1F74A303111F.jpg F1F75D72-E350-44A4-9A73-B37721EC82D8.jpg

If in the market on the west coast look into sportsman steel safes. Damn great quality stuff. Also connected with pentagon safes.

    For home safes

Interested to see what people are doing with new 2020 Tacomas with the power seat. In my old truck I had locking box under the seat but no room now. Even the non power passenger seat is a little tight. Thinking about getting a center console vault but interested in other options.

Found a pic of mine. It's painted black now. It's bolted to the trim mounts and is lockable. It also has a stronger pin and lock on it now. Won't deter a motivated crook, but what will?
