Another time, I was actually in the grocery store doing shopping for my mom; He sort of cornered me in an aisle and said hello, but he didn’t say anything else and just stood there; The situation became so awkward that I said “Gotta go” and pushed my cart away. Luckily, he didn’t follow me...

Also, the biggest difference after the Giant takeover was the prices; Giant is a much larger company and was able to charge less than Genuardi’s for damn near everything.

The other notable difference was that at Genuardi’s, all employees wore aprons regardless of their department; The bakery, butcher, deli, and seafood departments wore different and typically heavier-duty aprons than the standard employees. However, when it was Genuardi's, everyone including the cashiers and baggers wore aprons; They were these classic black aprons, just like anyone might wear in the kitchen at home, with fancy gold-colored nametag, over a collared shirt and either black or khaki pants. When Giant bought them out, the cashiers, baggers, and standard associates just wore collared shirts with pin-on name tags, black or khaki pants, and no aprons; People in departments where they actually prepared food still wore aprons.

I have only worked two jobs in my life where I was required to wear an apron at all times as part of my uniform; The first one was Dunkin Donuts in October 2013...

I lasted all of three weeks there for numerous reasons; My apron was this brown thing that barely long enough to cover my knees, and I had to give it back when I quit.

The second “aprons mandatory” job was a family-owned deli in November 2013, and that only lasted a day because the owner was such an ass; It was a generic white chef’s apron, and unlike Dunkin I did not have to wear any specific clothing in addition to the apron.

When I worked at Puck, I only wore aprons when juicing lemons and limes for mixed drinks, and on the rare occasion I washed dishes. When I was barbacking, my Tacoma often served as my office and my break room; Good times!

I have found a complete brand new bumper (with the plastic stuff on it) for $240 online, but it is a knockoff OEM-style and not genuine Toyota. An auto recycler in California is asking $500 for a dirty and well-used bumper from a totaled truck.

I have no idea what the going rate for a decent used bumper for a base model Taco is, but I will likely buy the $240 one if I can't find anything here. I am located in Southeast PA and am willing to ship if the price is right; I have PayPal. Bumper must be in reasonably good condition and must be black!

PM me if you have what I am looking for!

I dunno; My uncle is doing it all for free (I just have to pay shipping), so I'm not complaining. Should I only keep them on the truck during the warmer months so the salt doesn't mess them up?

If your plastic parts are still good you can get a very cheap black aftermarket bumper. Here's one for $133 with free shipping!

    https://www.amazon.com/Bumper-Toyot...EWSQR9C9CWZ&psc=1&refRID=XWZ9TRJ2YEWSQR9C9CWZ

As I'm sure you're aware most take-offs in our area (I'm in Michigan) come with free rust included. Probably better off getting new or from a drier climate.

My bumper was replaced TWICE in 2015, as a result of two separate accidents that were not my fault; Rear-ended by a texting driver in March 2015 and sideswiped by a drunk driver in October 2015. I also seem to remember that the bumper came off in September 2016 when my neighbor helped me install an aftermarket backup camera. That said, I don't rust will be a problem...

Thanks for finding this on Amazon!

I missed the "no plastic parts" part; My rear bumper is pretty beat, and I actually damaged the plastic on the driver's side in the fence post incident...

$240-$250 seems to be the going rate for a complete OEM-style rear bumper.

Happy to help! And you're correct, you'd have to take those off your current bumper (they pop on/off as they're just plastic clips). If you want new ones I think $240 is about the best you'll find!

I think I'm just gonna settle for new; Mine is also covered in a nearly 2-year old layer of PlastiDip that even my body guy said he was unable to get off without completely sanding down and repainting the thing! And my truck never even had a hitch receiver, so it wouldn't matter!

Plus, Amazon takes state sales tax out; A lot sellers and vendors (like Crutchfield) do not charge sales tax unless the buyer is in their state, but the E-commerce laws require them to notify the buyer's state's government of any purchases; I bought a $325 Pioneer HU for my truck in March 2018 had an unpleasant surprise when I filed my tax returns roughly thirteen months later!

I would like to buy one of these for my truck, and I can't remember if the manufacturer was a TW-approved vendor? Is it still possible to buy one? How much?
