Thought I was in control and in moderation but turns out the CHP and that little breathing box said different. Got a DUI last friday. Never been arrested, tickets, never committed a crime hell never even been pulled over before.

Just left the Casino Parking garage and within 200ft the cops said I was doing 49 in a 35. I had 6 beers in 7 half hours. Even had a late dinner with a coke. I blew a .11 I passed every field test they gave me. He never asked for my license or registration. Just said he smelled alcohol. Im not passing blame its my fault for a bad judgement call. I decided to take the blood test since it would give me what turned out to be an extra 40 min of detoxing. I was in jail for 3.5 hrs and released. Shitty place to be. The most expensive 6 beers on the planet. The last I might add too.. Im done.

i've had a bunch of friends get DUIs, it sucks but you can get thru them, just do a lot of community service hours and go thru those driving schools.

It is just better to stay away from booze and drugs. It is fun when you start but if you do not give it up by the time you are hitting 30, you are heading down a bad road. All my friends who kept drinking past 30 are now dead.

Depends on when the last beer was and when he blew into the machine.

Rinse with mouthwash right before one and you'll blow astronomically high.

Like you should be dead high.

That is a pretty weak fine / sentence for a DUI , no ?

In BC , the law punishes drinking and driving far more severely than that .

Damn that sucks man drinking and driving is definitely not worth it. I have 15+ friends with DUI's and my friend killed himself drinking and driving 2 years ago; He was 21.

not really, considering now im on informal probation for 3 years, i have to pay for an sr22 for 3 years, my fine alone was $1300 plus another $600 for classes and another $125 just to get my license back.

a 2nd DUI is were you really get fucked tho...

Our limit was just lowered to .05 from .08 , you pay about the same in $ , and lose your licence for a year .
