I saw the photo at the top of the thread, and it made me go back down memory lane to that first mod meet we had.

Literally nothing was happening in this thread, as some of you OGs said for like 3 years, because everyone got rid of their trucks. Then we had that mod meet and the thread came to life. Ah, the good ol' days.

    You might like this.
It’s a Spyderco Worker from 1983. I got it on eBay for like $30 and it wasn’t in great shape. But I cleaned her up and she’s good to go now. It retailed for $45 new (that’s over $100 in today’s money) so I feel pretty good about that. No idea what it would sell for, but I’m gonna keep it.

That’s an old school Worker. They rereleased it a few years ago in a green g10 model. Never owned a Worker, but many other Spyderco blades though. You might be able to fetch $50-$75 if it’s in mint condition.

You wanna collect something worth some money in the future, pick up some sprint or exclusive run Shamans. They will be worth a mint in 10 years!

Yeah, I've got a few Spydercos and it's kind of quirky little blade. I don't carry it often, but I keep it in the mix. It doesn't have the modern aesthetic of say a ZT 0350 cf, but it's cool.

That's Timmy Cameron's new buggy. It's long low, and tons of power. With Spidertrax 10" RG front IFS and rear diffs. It's a mean machine. The IFS is built and designed by one of the top Ultra4 and Baja guys out there. He's already won one bounty race with it. That thing should be a force to reckon with this season. Go to Hawks Pride when they run there and see it in person.

My Spydercos will cut circles around my ZTs! Not much out there that can hang with a full flat grind blade of some s90v steel, when it comes to actual cutting.

My Native 5 lightweight is one of my best cutters, but nothing looks as good to me as my ZT 0350 cf. Someone recently gave me a Native 5 with S110V steel and purple G10 scales and it's a gorgeous knife too. A little heavy for my taste and I really value light weight. Honestly, my best cutter is probably my ProTech Monaco.
