    I haven't put LEDs in them personally, but I'm guessing you can. You would just need to find h1 LED lights to fit into the housing.

    The high beams were just the stock bulb that they had installed from factory. I'm sure there is a way to install your own, but I never got to that point I sold my truck before I got to really mess with them. Heres the back side of one light.

    I actually emailed Tacoma beast about these headlights way back when.. you can use LED bulbs with them BUT HID bulbs work better in general when your talking about having projectors. Although the light output is greater for LED when compared to HID & it somehow makes it perform worse when used on projectors.. something about LEDs being TOO bright.
    They insisted there would be no issues with running LEDs but they do recommend HIDs for the best

    Thanks for the help Alex. I don't really have anything against HID but I currently have LEDs in my headlights but the lenses are trashed so I'm looking at getting some new headlights. Thanks again
