True I'm honestly would be using it more for pulling up stumps, lifting lawn mower, I don't find them that useful for my truck the last one I had I used on my sliders and the handle almost hit the door..

agreed, should work fine for that. I bought a cheap 48 at first to help with raising some deck rails, they handle far more than just truck stuff for sure

This is why I'm over thinking this. Even in this thread I get conflicting answers on 886s. :D

Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one, and most of them stink :D

We've all been there, gather up all the opinions, weigh the good and the bad, do some more research, and pull the trigger based on what you think is right

I ran 886 for a long time, never blew nothing. I suspect he either didn't have what he thought or something else went wrong. I would run them again as a temp or budget lift.

Just another asshole opinion for ya.

You talking about me? I know what I have. 886 mounted the right way with nitro shocks With SPC UCAs. Everything is right. Every truck doesn’t get the same lift height with the same springs. Mine was more than I wanted. They didn’t settle much with the weight of my arb and steel Cable winch. 2 years ago my 2006 had 30k miles on it. The cv boots were already Starting to dry rot from sitting so long. When I did the lift that was it for them. Bought new axels, not oem, but from a recommended company after the research I gathered, about 4 months later one of them is already blew out, the other side looks perfect. Maybe a bad boot from the get go?? Who knows. I do know one thing, he asked opinions about access cabs and 886 so I gave mine. On the fence with ditching OME all
Together and getting RR CO’s. If your not going to spend the money to do it the right way the first time there is always lessons learned.

My opinions are from first hand experience, second gen access cab with weight. Pretty similar setup, thus i have offered my experiences :notsure: Did most all of the work myself, which is more than some can say.
