Hows your alignment? Caster pushed as far as it can go? in the 5 to 6 degree range?

Caster was set at 4 last time. They had a difficult time doing that. Maybe I will go back down and see if they can redue it. I’m using tires plus for my lifetime alignments lol.

real question, who in town could even set it to 5/6?

Ayres should be able to do it, never had a problem getting us where we needed our alignment set. Standard charge of $69.95 for the alignment too I believe which is beyond reasonable.

Too many to list, and I've probably forgotten a bunch.
Since there seems to be a diverse group in this thread, anyone else on the Mariposa (Van Dinther) search last week+weekend?

The Navy Seahawk crew was batshit insane. Also, they're complete badasses with the skills to pay those bills. Best callsign of the search was 'Shadow19' - I think it was Army NG in a Lakota. We joked at lunch about coming up on comms as "Reaper69". Talk about an ass-chewing waiting to happen if we had. Lol.

Ayres is reasonable and do anything you want which is nice. I had them align mine and it pulled hard right. I took it back they kinda blew me off until i did a review on them that they sent me to do. The owner was kind of a dick about it but wanted to realign it. I let them. Its much better but still pulls to the right and has tread cupping but it is what it is.... I'm undecided if I would use them again. I have adjustable UCA's and they wanted to charge me 200$ or something to adjust them. I said screw that. Before next alignment, I plan on throwing a couple turns in them to move the wheel farther forward in the wheel well to get numbers back to the green.

I've never gotten a questionnaire from them before, sure its the same place?
Did you get a print out when you picked it up? Would have had to have something out of spec to be pulling like that, the sheet would have shown it. just seems a bit out of the norm for them, I've easily had a dozen-plus alignments done by them plus know many who have and all have been very happy with the work. Just seems odd to hear of such an opposite experience.

Yes for sure Ayres. They sent me a text survey. I don't have it anymore, unfortunately. Right now, the truck has a slight pull to the right. no biggie, but when you brake, its a lot harder pull to the right which kinda blows. Yes, I got a print out when I picked it up. the numbers were jacked up but the only way they can get it to not pull to the right. I'll probably have them realign sometime this year... As you mentioned, everyone I have talked to highly recommends them. Not just Tacoma guys but all modified vehicles from drag cars, streetcars, and 4wds of all kinds.

I just got my truck aligned at Reno Vulcanizing. They did a good job but they are pretty expensive at $120 compared to Ayres. I called Ayres but they don’t do appointments and it’s hard for me to leave my truck for the day. Also the guy I talked to was kinda a dick and I had to call them multiple times because they didn’t return my calls. Probably just your standard small shop that doesn’t have a front office person.

if it gets worse when braking, check your bushings on the control arms. FWIW, i took my truck to Folbeck 4WD after i installed my lift and they got it dialed right in.

If anyone knows this dipshit he drove a couple hundred yards off trail through sage brush and a meadow area to avoid a little mud pit and getting his brand new Gladiator muddy.
