Looks awesome, but I'm allergic to wood. I'm most likely going to go with plastic and a threaded insert.

How many of those were the joint vs bolts?

I've had good luck with green and their blank rotors. Been in for 3 years give it take.

I felt the same way when I first installed mine with hawk pads, it was better but not by much. But with the green stuff pads it stops great.

It's all subjective to what "heavy" is but I'd consider 1 ton of added weight on these trucks to be heavy. I'd like to cut some weight and get down to 5000lbs but I keep needing to reinforce things so I'm likely to only go up.

I think that's more due to the fact your rear brakes might not be work right haha

Added a little lift, 2” wheels spacers, longer studs, and made some rock sliders. Doesn’t look so small sitting beside my 72 cj sitting on 38s now. The last picture is the transformation from day 1

Oh and drilled and slotted rotors and finally fixed my parking brake. New muffler. Detailed the underside a little bit while I had it on the lift FF0B97EC-54B2-4533-A453-A1F59C901D2E.jpg

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!
Random question... Looking to do the CS144 Alternator. I'm looking on Amazon, and I'm having trouble finding the right one. I'm looking under 1995 Deville with heated front windshield (from what I've read, that is supposedly what I want).

Can anyone point me in the right direction? Looking at Amazon (or possibly eBay) so I don't have to pay a core charge.

where did you get the sunshade film thing in your windshield
that might spice my old tacoma up a bit perhaps?

highway spray pattern no hood protector.jpg

and the wheels, those look like what @1997tacomav6 has on his truck, i have not seen them on a black one that i recall
please pardon my messy truck, it was a rough dirty ride through the storm once I crossed the border into Colorado

    IMG_0243.jpg

i need some better highway tires to regain my 'lost' MPGs
keep the duratracs for only the snowy season

is it tint or a shade?
    tint would be permanent
i had a shade type strip once that peeled on and off easily with water until it started drooping then i took it off a long time ago
more like a window adhesive something its late i'm tired
