You have an awesome combination, would not ever want to get rid of that either. I think the only 4 cylinder 5 Speed truck left is a Frontier but I'm not sure you can get the 4 cylinder in 4x4, think they only have V6 MT in 4x4.

Someone has a real-life red one. I remember seeing a picture of it on here a while ago. I believe it was a 2nd gen modified with 3rd gen body panels, so it looked exactly like this - but red.

    Edit: here it is

I'm digging the painted roof and hood!

Y'all AC boys have it going on with in-cab storage, I'm a little jealous of that. With a DC, ya gotta squirrel away what little fits behind and under the rear seat.

I can honestly say that I like the access cab portion of my '06, better than in my '18.

It folds down flat and makes for a perfect platform for Cleo to ride along too.

The access cab portion on my '18 sucks balls. Folding seats and head rests take up so much space and when folded up, does not provide a flat surface for Cleo to lay down on...:confused:

Salesman is incorrect, only the Texas plant does Manuals, and for that matter they only do the Access Cabs there too.

Well, there is at least one more short cab access....prominently featured here on Tacomaworld. Go back a few pages from here to see the complete process if you dare. This is one SERIOUS off road vehicle.

Good looking truck brother. Mine is still stock because, well, I've got other toys and hobbies. My 65 chevy started tinkling brake fluid on my driveway the other day... sigh. At least I don't have to work on the Toyota.

Good luck to you and the misses and God bless you both.

Thank you, Bobby! Same to you as well!

Yeah I hear you on that! I have a 2004 Jeep TJ that needs some work too but waiting for the weather to warm up a bit. Looking to get a used dual sport down the road to tool around on and save some miles (and gas) on the Taco.

Sucks to hear about your 65 started leaking brake fluid... I bet it is a sweet ride!

Man I love Access Cabs. Wish you could pop the back window open though and that it was available in Off Road manual.

My 2016 ACLB, Manual (available in Canada) no lift, but the center back window slides open!
